Why Music Therapy?
Music is a powerful tool for building communication, attention, and social skills. As a board-certified music therapist, sessions are intentionally designed to support each child’s developmental needs through engaging, structured musical experiences.

Music and Me: Budding Musicians
A 45-minute, parent-child music group for children ages 4-6. This group is designed to support early communication, joint attention, and social engagement. Through songs, movement, and simple instruments, children will build foundational skills like turn-taking, imitation, and following routines.
Music and Me: Growing Together
A 45-minute, parent-child music group for children aged 6-8. This group will support early communication, joint attention, and social engagement. Through songs, movement, and simple instruments, children will build foundational skills like turn-taking, imitation, and following routines.
Music and Me: Building Connections
This group is a 45-minute, parent-child group that supports older children in strengthening social awareness, collaboration, and self-expression through music. Participants will engage in group music activities that promote teamwork, conversation skills, and problem-solving. The goal is to help children feel more confident connecting with others while developing independence in social situations.
About the Therapist
Lauren Marcinkowski, MT-BC, M. Ed
About the Music Therapist
Lauren Marcinkowski is a Board-Certified Music Therapist based in Bucks County, PA. She is also a special education teacher in the Central Bucks School District, with over 10 years of experience supporting children with disabilities, including autism and developmental delays.
Lauren brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work. Growing up with a nonverbal brother, she developed a deep appreciation for alternative forms of communication and connection—an experience that continues to shape her compassionate, individualized approach to therapy.
She is passionate about helping children build communication, social, and emotional skills through engaging, play-based musical experiences, while also supporting and empowering parents along the way
